ST MARY'S CHURCH

The Church, with 12th Century origins, lies at the heart of the village and the chiming of the clock and the ringing of the bells remind everyone of its existence. A welcoming place for all to visit.

VILLAGE SCHOOL

The School, recently rated 'Good' by Ofsted (2019), has occupied an important place in the heart of the Village since 1865 and extensively rebuilt in 1992.

COMMUNITY LIBRARY

The Library is run and managed by “Friends of Burton Bradstock Library” volunteers, with support from Dorset Council.  Our library is located by the village green and is a friendly place to visit.

VILLAGE

HALL

Owned by the WI, the hall is run by the Village Hall Trust Committee who are responsible for its upkeep, financial probity and day to day management. The vast majority of events in the Village take place in the Village Hall which can be rented for a small fee subject to availability.

VILLAGE

SOCIETY

With over 280 members the Burton Bradstock Village Society is one of the best ways to meet people.

Ordinarily, we would be enjoying:

  • Monthly Talks

  • an Annual Outing

  • the Flower & Produce Show.

Sadly, this is not the case this year but we are hopeful that normal service will resume before too long.

PARISH

COUNCIL

Click Discover More to link to the Parish Council website where you will find information about the Council, upcoming meetings, planning, council property, the Burton Bradstock Parish Plan Review 2019 and useful links to services in the Village.

FESTIVAL OF

Sadly, in the circumstances, the decision has been made to cancel this year's event.
